Lorraine Robertson BA, PGCE, DE

Lorraine knew from the age of 7 that she wanted to be a musician and music, in all its forms, has played a major role in her life.
She studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama before moving to London and as a freelance flautist, landing her first job with the Bolchoi Ballet.
She went on to work with most of the world’s ballet companies including Spain, Sweden, Norway, Scotland, Berlin, Moscow, England, Australia, Alvin Ailey from New York and worked with, amongst others, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, BBC Symphony, BBC Concert, Welsh National Opera, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and The English Chamber Orchestra.
Lorraine has also performed with Luciano Pavarotti, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey and has also played to Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles of Great Britain. She obtained the Kindermusik Educator status with Kindermusik International, the world’s leading children’s music and mouvement program for 0-7 years, teaching these classes in France, and then went to to be become the company’s Commercial Director for Europe and Russia.
Heartbroken when her father died tragically in 2021 (her first flute teacher), she found solace only in singing and composing. It was then that she truly discovered the immense power of sound healing.

Lorraine signed up to a Sacred Sound Healing study course with the world’s leading experts in this field - studies including science, acoustic physiques, sound engineering, psychoacoustics, ancient sound healing practices, modern healing devices, vibroacoustics, and voice healing - with John Stuart Reid, David Gibson, Christine Stevens, Eileen McCuisack, Anders Holte, Yuval Ron, Jeralyn Glass, Barry Goldman, Joshua Leeds. She also studied Voice Bio voice analysis with Dr Kae Thompson Lieu, USA.
